A reliable power system is only as good as the connections behind it. From battery cables and lugs to adapters, connectors, and extension wiring, choosing the right components helps keep your system safe, efficient, and ready for whatever you need to power.
Whether you’re wiring a small battery setup, upgrading an RV, building an off-grid system, or connecting larger power equipment, proper wire sizing and quality connectors make a real difference. Below are some of the products we recommend for creating clean, dependable connections throughout your system.

Building a custom system? This kit gives you the wire, lugs, and heat shrink you need to make your own battery cables at the exact length you want.
Great for custom-built systems where length of each wire matters. If you are a beginner, stick to the cables above.
Connect your solar batteries in parallel or series configuration with these prefabricated cables. Great for beginners! No tools needed!
When you have multiple batteries, inverters, chargers, and other components, bus bars make it much easier to keep everything connected and organized.
Connect components or batteries together with a high quality bus bar. The busbars above can handle 12,800W with a 48V system and 3,200W with a 12V System.
For a simple plug-and-play setup, use a ready-made cable with MC4 connectors. Need longer runs or more flexibility? Build your own with high-quality PV cable.
Beginner-friendly plug-and-play cable with MC4 connectors.
Higher-quality PV cable for long wire runs, which requires cutting, stripping, and crimping your own connectors.
Durable automotive-grade wire for connecting critical 12V loads to your fuse block. Handles oil, water, vibration, and everyday abuse.
Heavy-duty automotive-grade wire for clean, reliable DC connections. A great choice for running critical loads from your fuse block.
Two wires in one jacket means a faster, cleaner install than running individual wires. Made with quality copper instead of cheaper copper-clad aluminum.
From standard crimp connectors to heavy-duty cable lugs, these are the connectors I use for building reliable DC and battery connections. Don’t cheap out on this stuff—bad connections can overheat, corrode, and fail.
Use these to connect different parts of your system together. I’ve used cheap connectors before, and they overheated and failed. These are the ones I’m using now.
Thick-walled copper lugs for making reliable battery and inverter connections. I keep plenty of these on hand because cheap ones just aren’t worth the risk.
Smaller, tin-plated cable lugs for connections where the larger ones won’t fit. The tin coating helps protect against corrosion, and I recommend keeping both sizes on hand when building a system.
Running solar cables into your vehicle? This gland gives you a clean way to pass them through the roof while helping keep water out. Just drill the holes, run the cables through, and seal it in place.
