When you buy large panels, a big factor is the cost for shipping. You are always better off buying as many panels as possible. Try to find a friend who also needs them so you can do a group buy. If you buy individual panels, the shipping can double the cost of your system!

I tested a stack of N-type solar panels and the best bang for your buck was the callsun. I was pulling the same numbers as the most expensive renogy panel! Reliable used solar panels at the lowest possible price.

Santan Solar sells used but inspected solar panels from Arizona. Every panel they sell is a high-quality name brand solar panel, and after selling 1000’s of solar panels they have only had a handful of returns.

These are a fraction of the cost of the solar panels I recommend above, and will work for a long time.

The big downside with these used solar panels is that you need a larger mounting structure because the output is lower. This can increase costs. Santan also sells higher output panels, but they do cost more.

If you have a limited roof space, stick with higher output, brand new panels. If you have a ton of space and can mount them yourself, used panels are a fantastic option.

The problem with santan solar is that the shipping cost is pretty steep. So be sure to use this option if you plan to build a large array only.
